Swedish gambling operator Svenska Spel recorded its second-strongest quarter since the 2019 market reregulation for the period ending June 30, 2026. The company attributed the results to increased player activity across its lottery, sports betting, and casino divisions.
Net gaming revenue reached SEK 1.96bn ($202.9m), representing a 7% increase of SEK 124m ($12.8m) compared to the previous year. Operating profit rose 13% to SEK 617m ($63.8m), while the operating margin stood at 31%. Eurojackpot, Lotto, Oddset, and the casino segment were the primary contributors to the quarterly growth.

Anna Johnson, president and CEO of Svenska Spel, stated that the company's focus on expanding its customer base is yielding measurable results. She noted that sustainable growth continues through improvements to the customer offering, enhancements to the gaming experience, and the development of core product brands.
The FIFA World Cup served as a key engagement driver during the period. Johnson highlighted that targeted football-related campaigns successfully increased player interaction. The operator also referenced its ongoing partnership with the Swedish Football Association, describing the collaboration as a component that supports both commercial performance and sports development across Sweden.
