Google will remove the mandatory certification requirement for online gambling advertisements within its Authorized Buyers platform on August 10. The company simultaneously announced that gambling ad placements will now be available across 37 additional markets.
Programmatic Access and Regional Rollout
The August 10 update eliminates the previous verification process that advertisers had to complete before running casino and sports betting campaigns. Publishers and trading partners can now launch gambling creatives directly through the programmatic interface without undergoing separate compliance checks.Alongside the certification change, Google is broadening the geographic availability of gambling advertisements. The expanded inventory covers 37 regions, allowing operators to target audiences in previously restricted territories through the same buying system.
